Take Me Dancing - The Sonja Loew Collection From the wardrobe of Boston / Miami socialite Sonja Loew, intage black silk velvet burlesque style overskirt decked out in ostrich feathers. Label is Mme. Berthe, but can't make out the original wearers name. May have originally been part of a stage costume, as Sonja's husband, E.M. Loew was co-owner of the Latin Quarter nightclubs. Skirt closes with single hook and eye at the waist. Also works beautifully as a cape, though based on the cut I believe it was intended as a skirt. Shown over Pozzatti dress, which is also available, but not included with the cape. Condition: Very good. Some minor fade to a few of the feathers, and a bit of wear to the velvet at the waist. No other flaws noted. Sturdy and wearable.
